Meadowbank Residence

Site Title: Resolution Arch

This home was a classic example of a home built during the early years of the leaky building crisis (?), where a trend towards Mediterranean-style homes embraced monolithic cladding. This plaster cladding begins to crack over time, and allows water to pass into the interior of the building, causing serious damage.

Situated in Meadowbank, this family home was reclad in classic timber weatherboards, while retaining its original shape and form on the front façade. At the exterior, waterproofing work was carried out on the multiple deck spaces, and the roof.

This is a great example of a project that allows the client to future-proof and ensure the weathertightness of their property, while retaining the look and feel of the home they love.
